We work alongside families as a qualified, independent ally. We help you understand your child's needs, know your rights, and advocate for them confidently.

Navigating inclusion and SEND support in an international school can raise different questions for families, particularly when systems, terminology and available support vary between settings. We help families understand their child's needs, work confidently with their school, and identify practical next steps for securing the right support.

Independent, qualified, on your side.

RISE Inclusion and Wellbeing is entirely independent. We do not have a relationship with any local authority or school that would create a conflict of interest. Our role is to help you and your family, and we take that seriously.

Our founder is a qualified SENCO, Senior Mental Health Lead, Designated Safeguarding Lead and Psychometric Assessor. They have extensive experience working within the SEND system. as an educator, a SENCO, an assessor and local authority professional. When we advise you, it comes from a depth of real-world experience and genuine respect of your journey to this point.

We will never make promises we can't keep. We will be honest about what we can help with, what's realistic, and when another specialist would serve you better. Your child's interests always come first.

Common questions

What families often ask us.

Do I need a diagnosis before coming to you? ▾
No. Many families come to us before any formal identification has taken place — often because they have concerns that haven't yet been formally recognised. A Navigator Session is a good starting point if you're not sure where you are in the process.
Can you come to meetings with me? ▾
Yes. Meeting attendance is included in our Advocacy and Guidance Package and Family Inclusion Partnership. We can attend school meetings, EHCP review meetings, and other relevant appointments as your advocate.
What if I disagree with what a school or local authority has decided? ▾
We can help you understand your rights, support you in making formal requests, and advise on next steps including mediation and SEND tribunal. If your case requires specialist legal advice, we will signpost you clearly.
Do you offer sessions online? ▾
Yes. All of our family consultations and advocacy sessions can be delivered online, making our services accessible to families regardless of location.
