Why RISE exists

Meaningful change starts with understanding.

RISE was built from the inside out. Our experience across classrooms, pastoral leadership, SEND, local authority services, international schools and teacher education showed us how wide the gap can be between what education systems intend to provide and what children and families actually experience. We exist to help close that gap, bringing together specialist knowledge, practical experience and genuine understanding to build provision that works in the real world.

R
Resilience

Building the confidence and capacity to navigate challenge, change and uncertainty. For children, for staff, and for the communities around them.

I
Inclusion

Recognising progress in all its forms and creating the conditions in which every child can belong, be understood, and thrive.

S
Sustainability

Building sustainable systems that future-proof education, strengthen capacity and help schools adapt positive change that lasts.

E
Empowerment

Giving schools and families the understanding, tools and confidence to advocate for what matters and make informed decisions.

What makes RISE different

Expertise grounded in practice.

Frontline expertise

Founded and led by a SENCO, Senior Mental Health Lead, Psychometric Assessor and Senior Lecturer in Teacher Training, all with direct classroom and leadership experience. We understand what schools need, and how to make it happen.

Whole-school thinking

We see the connections others can miss. We bring inclusion, wellbeing, staff capacity and AI strategy into one picture, so that schools can respond to today’s pressures while preparing for tomorrow.

Human first

Every child is a person, not a category. Every family has their own reality, and every staff member brings their own experience, pressures and strengths. We start from understanding, every time, and never lose sight of who this work is for.
